Beer + Bubs - a workshop for childbirth support partners at the pubWhat do beer and childbirth have in common? Both need tender loving care and shouldn't be rushed. Giving birth for the first time is daunting for the guys as well. Many would rather head to the pub and talk to their mates over a beer, than go to birth classes. So we've moved the birth classes to the pub. Learn how to be the best childbirth support partner you can be at this two and a half hour workshop. It's perfect for first time dads or for second timers who would like to be more prepared this time. The workshop is facilitated by Lucy Perry, a professionally trained childbirth support partner and mother of two. Expectant dads have the opportunity to hear from other dads who have been there before (chat with a dad who delivered his own baby at home!) and to talk to experienced birth partners. TO MAKE A BOOKING VISIT www.beerandbubs.com.au "The workshop was fantastic. I feel more confident about the birth and what is expected of me. This may sound strange, but the best thing about the workshop was the birth video at the end. It was very emotive and made me appreciate how fortunate I am, about to become a father." David "The workshop was really clear, relevant and professional. It demystified some of the scary things about labour and set me much more at ease about what's to come." Phil "The format of the workshop was casual and created a relaxing and open environment, ideal for learning. The information was delivered well and the break for dinner was a good distraction!" Darren "I have not found a lot of information for support partners so this workshop was excellent for that. My husband was very surprised by your info! He's rethinking his strategy to support me!"
